Prologue
As
Caribbean Peoples we are characterized by a number
of circumstances which have defined who we are
at this time in our development. We celebrate with
the exceptions among us who have made us proud
through their own individual excellence...more
Vision
A new Caribbean where
our propensity to create family wealth and
live at a higher standard moves within the
Top Ten in the world within a generation or
two.
Constraints
Historically, we have
been cultured to believe that somebody other
than ourselves is responsible,
at least in part, for our welfare. Sometimes
this is the politician. Other times it may
be other people By and large, we are not
entrepreneurial, we do not invest in research
and development (R&D) and we put off
to tomorrow, most everything that we should
do today.

the notion that “education
and entrepreneurship are the best two ‘trains’ from

Our Conviction
We are confirmed in our
opinion that anyone who can understand the
make up of his/her pay
cheque can understand the workings, and benefits,
of investing in the shares of companies whose
names he/she calls every day and whose products
and services they also buy, and use, everyday.
We recognize, that for many people, the only ‘investment’ worth
making is a ticket in the lotto. We have no
quarrel with this position. Instead, in addition
to a ticket in the lotto, we invite them to
have some also in the companies where they
buy goods and services everyday and where,
with more assurance, they stand a chance of
winning either dividend income, or capital
gains, or both. You, too, can, and should,
be as wealthy as you want to be. And, you can
be if you practice the wealth-creating strategies
which are free to all who are willing to employ
them. At “TRY”, we commit ourselves,
and all the resources at our command, to help
everyone within the Diaspora to make this transformation.
